El Toro is one of Scott's journeyman test knives - a bullish W2 bowie with a wild hamon and meaty African blackwood handle. The hamon reminded me of the
Hall of the Bulls in the Lascaux cave paintings, and although Scott says I'm hallucinating about the dancing bulls, he agreed that the knife was bullish enough to call El Toro. This knife is on its way to the San Antonio to be reviewed by seven mastersmiths at the
All Forged Blade Expo, but is available for purchase prior to the show.
